My name is Joseph Pyfferoen (pie-fur-own). I am a New York City based actor with a passion for Musical Theatre.
Since the age of eight, I have performed and studied first in Rochester, MN, then Minneapolis, MN, and NYC for five years. After a brief 2-year stint in Milwaukee, I am happy to be home in New York.

In May, 2013, I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Theatre Arts and a minor in Communication Studies where I received numerous performance scholarships.

Musical theatre has always been my specialty. Some of my favorite roles have included Toad in A Year with Frog and Toad, Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Baker in Into the Woods, Dean, Carlo, Heimlich, Ernesto, and Pops in Five Course Love, and Tobias in Sweeney Todd.

Prior to my move, I was seen in and around the Twin Cities working toward AEA status. Since relocating to New York City with my wife, Anna, I have been continuing my theatrical education and career goals.

For performance clips, see below. You can see even more on my Media tab.

I am pleased to announce that I will be attending Circle in the Square Theatre School's Musical Theatre Conservatory beginning in the fall of 2022.
