Let The Updates begin!!

Greetings everyone! I am now officially a married man!!!

Yes, this has been the case for nearly two months now, but it wasn't really until today that I have had the chance to really post about it. The wedding was incredible! Anna and I are so happy!!

For those of you who are curious, we had our wedding at the perfect venue for theatre people: Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. The space we had, the Club Theatre, was beautiful, good music, food, cake, the whole shebang was tremendous. My personal favorite aspect of the evening (aside from getting married) was that we did something a little different. Rather than the clinking of the glasses to get us to kiss...let's be honest, who wants to hear that all night...we asked people to sing to make us kiss. Each table featured a musical-themed center piece (Thanks to my sister for designing and building them). They were to sing from that show, or any musical that we deemed okay.

My family kept getting told that this was the most fun they had had working at a wedding in quite some time. I have to say, our wedding kicked butt! It was so gorgeous and practically perfect.

Now, on to other things. Tomorrow, I close my final show with the wonderful people at St. Croix Festival theatre, The Miser. The two productions I have done here this year have been incredibly fun and fulfilling. Forum was an absolute blast, and I have had a great deal of fun with this company. In Miser, I play a servant who wears many hats, has a great deal of physical comedy, and ends up lying a lot. ...wait...didn't I do that in Forum too? Am I detecting a trend?

What's coming up next? I start rehearsals next week to understudy with Yellow Tree theatre in Osseo, MN in their original production, A Hunting Shack Christmas. Additionally, I will be making further preparations for the venture out east. More details on these to come later.

On a bitter-sweet note, I will not be with my wife this holiday season. Yes, my lovely bride is being swept away from me...but for a good reason. Anna will be performing with First Stage Children's Theatre in Milwaukee, WI. She'll be working on their holiday show, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
